Livestock – premiums for licensed bulls by municipality in Montenegro (2025)

This dataset contains data on premiums for licensed bulls under livestock support measures by municipality in Montenegro for 2025. The data includes the number of beneficiaries, number of animals and total payment amounts.

Licensed bulls are selected breeding animals that meet defined genetic and breeding standards. Their use aims to improve the breed structure and genetic potential of cattle populations, particularly in areas where artificial insemination is not widely applied .

Support through premiums for licensed bulls contributes to improved reproductive performance, better offspring quality and long-term development of cattle farming through controlled breeding and selection.

The data is provided in a long (tidy) format and aggregated at the municipality level.
