Livestock – premiums for licensed stallions by municipality in Montenegro (2025)

This dataset contains data on premiums for licensed stallions under livestock support measures by municipality in Montenegro for 2025. The data includes the number of beneficiaries, number of animals and total payment amounts.

Licensed stallions are selected breeding animals that meet defined genetic and breeding standards. Their use aims to improve offspring quality, preserve breed characteristics and support the development of horse breeding through controlled selection and breeding programmes.

Support for licensed stallions is particularly important in areas where intensive reproduction methods are not widely applied, enabling genetic improvement through natural breeding in line with regulations and breeding programmes.

The data is provided in a long (tidy) format and aggregated at the municipality level.
